Retroble specialises in the buying and selling of Pokémon trading cards. We offer cash payments or store credit in exchange for cards.

Our Buy List
Our buy list can be accessed at www.retroblebuylist.com This easy to use system makes it easy for customers to enter the cards you want to sell. It’s important to note that the prices listed on the buy list are advisory and not binding offers. When utilizing the buy list, you can browse and add the cards you intend to sell to a cart. Upon finalizing your cart, you'll be prompted to input contact details and select a preferred payment method for your cards.
Once your cards are shipped to us, we assume responsibility upon their arrival via post. Prior to that, it's your responsibility to ensure the safe delivery of any cards sent to us. We cannot be held liable for packages lost or damaged during transit. We advise selecting a postage option with sufficient insurance coverage against loss and securely packaging your cards for shipment.
Upon receiving your cards, we'll inspect the package contents. Depending on our evaluation, we may either accept or decline the cards. If accepted, we'll proceed to pay the offer amount specified during the buy list checkout process, utilizing your chosen payment method. Following this, you may receive an email confirmation from Retroble confirming the completion of the transaction.
Occasionally, we may need to decline your cards or adjust the total amount offered. The buy list serves as a guide and doesn't constitute a binding purchase offer for your cards. While the buy list prices are typically accurate, each card sent through the buy list undergoes verification by Retroble before acceptance. Any offer we extend to purchase your cards becomes final only when you receive direct communication from Retroble confirming the transaction. Payment equivalent to the buy list amount serves as confirmation. We reserve the right to decline purchasing your cards at our discretion and for any reason.
 
At times, the offer we extend to you may vary from the amount listed in the buy list. This could be due to various factors such as discrepancies in card condition, receipt of counterfeit cards, or shifts in market conditions. In such instances, Retroble will directly contact you to discuss the available options. Typically, we will propose an updated offer at a reduced price. However, you always retain the right to decline any offer lower than the buy list amount. Should you choose to reject the offer, we will coordinate with you to either return your cards or arrange for their collection from our premises.

Receiving Your Cards
The majority of parcels or card collections we receive are processed on the day of their arrival. During this process, we compare the received items with our expectations. Typically, we encounter no issues and can finalize the transaction within a few hours. However, for exceptionally large collections or during busy periods, processing may take up to 72 hours.

It's important to note that we reserve the right to decline purchasing your cards, although this is rare. Such instances usually occur when the received contents significantly differ from our expectations.

In the event of a discrepancy, your assigned buyer will communicate the issue with you. Common reasons for discrepancies include cards in lower condition, in a different language, or a different version from what was anticipated. Occasionally, we may receive counterfeit or severely damaged cards that we cannot purchase. Your buyer will provide guidance on any necessary adjustments to your offer in such cases.

Payment Form
When completing our payment form, you will be prompted to confirm that the cards you are selling are your rightful property and that you acknowledge our Terms of Service. The form will request various details including your name, address, bank information, and email address. This information is solely utilized for the purpose of facilitating the purchase of your cards. However, it may also be utilized to meet our legal obligations to HMRC. Rest assured, this information will never be utilized for advertising purposes, nor will it be shared with any third party for commercial gain. If you are using our buy list, the checkout process will require to enter your payment details before finalizing your order.
 
Who Can We Buy From
Retroble operates within HMRC's Global Accounting Scheme. Consequently, we exclusively purchase cards from individuals who are not VAT registered and are located in the United Kingdom. Please inform your buyer if you are VAT registered, selling on behalf of a company or other legal entity, or selling to us from outside the United Kingdom. By selling to us, you confirm that the cards being sold are your legal property and that you have full authority over them.

Additionally, we are not responsible for any indirect or consequential loss or liable for any punitive damages arising from the use of our services. In such instances, any items belonging to you may be collected from our store at a mutually agree time.
